Understanding the Three Stages of the UPSC Examination The UPSC Civil Services Examination is a multi-stage process designed to assess a candidate's knowledge, analytical ability, personality, and suitability for public service. The journey consists of three important stages:

Stage 1: UPSC Preliminary Examination

The First Gateway to Success The Preliminary Examination is the screening stage of the UPSC journey. It tests a candidate's awareness of current affairs, general studies, and aptitude skills. This stage requires strong conceptual understanding, regular newspaper reading, and consistent practice through mock tests.

Stage 2: UPSC Main Examination

The Real Test of Knowledge and Analysis The Main Examination evaluates a candidate's depth of understanding, analytical thinking, and answer-writing skills. Candidates must present balanced, well-structured, and insightful answers on various subjects.

Stage 3: UPSC Personality Test (Interview)
